Legal Services in Türkiye for Foreign Clients
LimanLegal is an Istanbul law firm. We advise individuals and companies from abroad on their legal matters in Turkey — in plain language, with clear next steps and honest expectations. Most matters can be handled without your travelling to Turkey, through a power of attorney signed at a Turkish consulate.

How we work with clients abroad
- 1
You write to us. Send a short summary of your situation and copies of your documents by WhatsApp or e-mail.
- 2
We assess and tell you plainly what can be done, what it involves, how long it takes and what it costs.
- 3
You sign a power of attorney at the nearest Turkish consulate (or, for court matters, before a local notary with an apostille). From then on we act for you in Turkey and keep you informed at every step.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to come to Turkey to hire you?
No. You can instruct us from abroad. For most matters a power of attorney signed at a Turkish consulate is enough; we then act on your behalf before land registries, tax offices, courts and other authorities in Turkey.
In which languages can I write to you?
You can write to us in English, Arabic, Russian, German, French or Turkish. Send a short summary of your case first; we will tell you what we need next.
How much does a consultation cost?
Fees depend on the matter. After reading your summary we tell you in writing what the work involves and what it costs before you commit to anything.
Which authorities do you deal with for foreign clients?
Land registries (Tapu Müdürlüğü), the Presidency of Migration Management (Göç İdaresi), tax offices, customs directorates, civil and criminal courts, enforcement offices and public prosecutors — depending on your matter.
Where is your office?
In Kartal, on the Asian side of Istanbul. Meetings can be held in person or by video call.
